TruckRight is pleased to announce that Tetiana Kyryliuk has joined our team as assistant to our CFO, Lisa Kupar.

Tetiana brings with her an extensive background as a dynamic financial thinker, including 15 years of senior financial experience in Odesa, Ukraine. Further to this, she earned a Master’s Degree in Economics from Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University, and her Accounting Practitioner Certification from the Ukrainian Association of Certified Accountants and Auditors.

“As TruckRight’s rapid growth continues, Tetiana’s experience and thinking will add a new strategic dimension to our financial planning and analysis, as well as how we go about building our finance and accounting teams,” says Lisa Kupar, co-founder and CFO of TruckRight. “We’re ecstatic that she’s decided to join us, and that she’s chosen the community we love as her new home.”

Tetiana relocated to Canada from Ukraine in early April with her family, escaping the war. Her story is an inspiring one, having moved with her family to Belleville with only the clothes on their backs and three suitcases. Although settling in took some time and a lot of effort, we’re honoured and excited that Tetiana has decided to join the TruckRight family.

As Tetiana puts it: “I’m grateful to everyone who has welcomed me to Canada and to TruckRight.

“Years ago, I watched a speech by Steve Jobs that made a great impression on me, but I only began to fully understand it recently. One of the metaphors in the speech was about dots. To quote one of the main ideas of that story: ‘You can’t connect the dots looking forward – you can only connect them looking backwards. So, you must trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.’

“There were many dots in my life in Ukraine: my university life, my job, my family, our house, our parents, and our friends. But suddenly the war changed everything. We were forced to move to Romania. It was a tough decision and a very difficult dot.

“For more than a month we made many stops before we finally arrived in Canada. Then the Belleville community helped us. We now have a safe life, new friends, and new jobs. The dots have reconnected. Thanks to the TruckRight team for this opportunity and for helping me and my family connect the dots!”

Welcome to the TruckRight family, Tetiana. We’re glad you’re here, and we’re excited to help you connect the dots again.
